Field monitoring and assessment
WP1 (Field monitoring and assessment) – will use a network of field study farms (62) to deliver reduced GHG emissions from these agri-businesses and by doing so, serve as ambassadors for this CCCfarming project.
Tasks: 1.1. Selection and organization of field study farms; 1.2. Inventory and study of use ICT - measurement and sensor equipment and methods to deal with emissions; 1.3. Collect general farm data Detailed management data from the study farms; 1.4. Apply NPC calculation tools; 1.5. Perform farm emission measurements; 1.6. Interact with farmers, consultants and stakeholders. Promising strategies and techniques for reducing emissions as well as identification of farm sectors or periods within the animal production cycle, where the risk of significant GHG emissions from the farms is high will be recommended for further research in WP 2.
