Climate Care Cattle Farming Systems

Development of climate smart care cattle farming systems reducing GHG and ammonia emissions.

Work packages

The work plan is built up of six work-packages. Integrated and innovative practices and techniques will be applied and evaluated at the farm level. The housing and manure handling practices and techniques from animal to field are central to the emission reduction approach of this project. Suitable feeding, breeding, grassland and fertilization practices are added to the integrated farm systems approach, while realizing that breeding options to become effective requires time.
